Chalet Grünenwald consists of two separate units – Chalet Grünenwald Parterre and Chalet Grünenwald Maisonette – and offers accommodation for up to 9 guests. The thoughtful renovation preserves the historic charm of the house while combining it with modern amenities for maximum comfort.
The Maisonette apartment spans two floors and features a spacious living area with a comfortable leather sofa, a 65-inch OLED TV, and an open country-style kitchen, perfect for social evenings. A crackling fireplace creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. This unit includes three bedrooms – one with a 180 cm double bed, another with a single bed, and a third bedroom in the attic with a 160 cm double bed, accessible via a staircase. For ultimate relaxation, the large bathroom is equipped with a whirlpool and color light therapy.
The Parterre apartment offers an equally charming and cozy ambiance. It includes two bedrooms, a stylish bathroom with a whirlpool and color light therapy, and an open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.
For families with young children, a travel cot, high chair, and child carrier are available upon request.

In winter, a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended, and snow chains may be required depending on the conditions (except for 4WD vehicles).
A car is necessary, as there is no public transportation or restaurants nearby. The closest towns, Lenk and Zweisimmen, are just a 15-minute drive away. Both offer a wide selection of restaurants, shops, and recreational activities, including ski resorts, hiking trails, and numerous options for both summer and winter adventures.

Off-peak season from 450 CHF - Christmas/New Year from 800 CHF - Ski high season from 550 CHF
The prices quoted are per night incl. four persons.
An additional charge of 20 CHF per night applies for each additional person.
The tourist tax is included in the cleaning fee.
Booking & Payment Terms
1. Booking
Your booking is binding once completed through our online form.
You will immediately receive a written booking confirmation including payment details.
2. Deposit
To secure your booking, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is due at the time of booking.
The deposit can be conveniently paid by credit card via the payment link included in your booking confirmation.
If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
3. Final Payment
The remaining balance is due as follows:
30 days before arrival, if the booking is made at least 30 days in advance.
- Immediately upon booking, if the arrival is in less than 30 days.
The final payment can be conveniently made via the payment link provided in your booking confirmation.
4. Security Deposit
For first-time bookings, we charge a security deposit of CHF 750, which will of course be fully refunded upon proper return of the apartment. The deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card at the time of key handover.
From your second booking onwards, we are happy to waive the security deposit to make your arrival even more comfortable as a valued returning guest.
5. Changes after booking
For subsequent changes to a confirmed booking – such as switching the apartment, changing the number of guests, adjusting the length of stay or the travel dates – an administrative fee of CHF 50 will be charged.
6. Cancellation Policy:
80% of the paid deposits are refundable if canceled 50 days or more before arrival.
50% of the paid deposits are refundable if canceled 20 days or more before arrival.
20% of the paid deposits are refundable if canceled 14 days or more before arrival.
0% refund if canceled later than 14 days before arrival.
